Recent legislation has amended the Postsecondary Enrollment Options Act (PSEOA) (Public Act 160 of 1996) and the Career and Technical Preparation Act (Public Act 258 of 2000) to expand dual enrollment options for high school students in the State of Michigan. The language allows students to begin taking dual enrollment classes in 9th grade and to take up to 10 dual enrollment classes in grades 9-12.  It also allows students at approved non-public schools to participate in dual enrollment.  More information can be found at:
