Typically, most schools begin with rigor in their approach to educating students. At Cornerstone Charter Schools, we have changed this paradigm. We lead with strong relationships in order to achieve better results with the youth who pass through our doors.

All that we do at Cornerstone Charter Schools comes down to three things:

Education starts with relationships, as we believe children fully open their minds when you touch their hearts. Relationships encompass everyone from teachers to parents to Partners – all the stakeholders in a child’s education. Relevance is rooted in the idea that optimal learning happens when a student’s passions are aligned with learning objectives. This also means properly preparing children for the world around them and careers that are truly in demand. Rigor is meeting high standards for every aspect of the child. Each student’s advancement will be based on competency, so students will only move forward when truly ready.

Our curriculum is evaluated by performance. This is demonstrated by competence. Competence is based on a number of outcomes, including student learning; customer-focused satisfaction; budgetary, financial, and market considerations; workforce-related success; process effectiveness; and leadership.
